  • Dynamic exhibitions, interpretation and related programming that prioritize the visitor experience while supporting an institution’s mission and strategic vision

    Recent engagements have included:

    • Development of exhibition idea and interpretive goal

    • Review of object files, research on select collection objects, and catalog updates for inclusion in museum files

    • Creation of object checklist, label and interpretive content

    • Collaboration with staff and exhibition designer

    • Staff and docent training

    • Participation in exhibition opening, donor events, talks, and curator tours

    • Availability for general project correspondence including press interviews prior to, during, and following the exhibition opening

  • Strategic collections assessments including object identification, recommendations for cataloguing, acquisitioning, and deaccessioning, and guidance for future exhibitions, publications, and collections work

  • Engaging lectures and talks related to decorative art history and design

    Past work includes “Glass Class | Blaschka's Legacy” (watch via YouTube), designed as classroom and outside learning materials for NY state educators.

  • Scholarly, in-depth object and collection research, including object examination, descriptions, identification, provenance information, and detailed updates for inclusion in museum catalog and object files
