Tiffany Studios Refresh at The Corning Museum of Glass

The acquisition of a monumental Tiffany Studios mosaic column—one of six made for Tiffany’s retail showroom in New York city—initiated an exciting gallery refresh of Tiffany works at The Corning Museum of Glass in early 2020. Join us for a conversation with Alexandra M. Ruggiero, Consulting Curator at The Neustadt and former Curator of Modern Glass at The Corning Museum of Glass. Alexandra will provide a behind-the-scenes look at this new installation, which features a variety of blown glass vessels, significant lamps, windows, and mosaics. Alexandra will highlight outstanding examples and recent acquisitions in Corning’s collection and share insight into display and interpretation decisions.
